And So The Countdown Begins...
My first race, a 10k, is this saturday so I have only today and friday left to prepare!! I decided to enter this race for the experience of a race so that I'm ready for my half-marathon in june. I'm not all that concerned about my time, 10k's are nothing after you've been consistently running 10 miles but I hope to be under 50mins, if I can get 45 minutes I'll be super excited!! Today I ran 10 miles on the treadmill which took 1hr 24mins and then biked on a stationary bike 24 miles which took 1 hour. All in all I feel pretty confident about my upcoming race but we'll see!! I'm still deciding on what would be the best to wear and also what would be the best playlist for my ipod for such a short run?? Any ideas??
